Strasbourg International Airport is located at 10 km from the Strasbourg city centre. It is known to be a small airport, but it provides a number of facilities like a bar, a café, a newspaper stand, and two restaurants offering traditional Alsatian specialties such as Tarte Flambée or Fois Gras. There is also a special bar, located on the first floor, where you can taste home-made beer. The Airport is situated on the border with France, Switzerland and Germany. Ways to get from Strasbourg to the Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport and vice versa: by train, a 90-minute trip gets you to Basel, where you can take bus no.50. The bus usually leaves from the Swiss part of the train station and the journey lasts 20 minutes. The tickets must be paid in Swiss francs.
Located at 225 km from Strasbourg, Frankfurt Airport is one of the largest airports in the whole Europe. One big advantage is the easy way to get there, the airport being provided with a strong bus connection.
