It is the best preserved town in the whole area. Riquewihr’s charming houses and towers make it a wonderful daytrip destination, on your way through Alsace. If passing by, make sure you visit the Schonenberg vineyards. In the immediate proximity you will find the Thieves Tower, dating from 1300, which contains an old torture chamber, used back in those days. Riquewihr also hosts a Postal Museum.
Eguisheim is a small ancient town having preserved its 15th and 16th century buildings.
Thann represents the very end of the Route du Vin. As tourist objectives, it gathers: the Witches’ Tower, the Storks Tower, the Museum of Alsatian History.
Dumbach-la-Ville is an old Alsatian town that preserved its walls, famous for its Saint Sebastian chapel.
