It is the best preserved town in the whole area. Riquewihr’s charming houses and towers make it a wonderful daytrip destination, on your way through Alsace. If passing by, make sure you visit the Schonenberg vineyards. In the immediate proximity you will find the Thieves Tower, dating from 1300, which contains an old torture chamber, used back in those days. Riquewihr also hosts a Postal Museum.
Saint Thomas Church is the main Protestant church in Strasbourg, also known as the Old Lady of Strasbourg.
Museum of Decorative Arts is hosted by the Palais Rohan of Decorative Arts and was set out in the 18th century by the famous Robert de Cotte.
Munbach is famous for its Romanesque Benedictine abbeys, also for Marmotier and Rosheim, being one of the most important monuments in the whole Alsace.
