At the foot of the Vognes, Barr is well known for its 1640 Renaissance Town Hall and a furniture museum called Folie Marco Museum. There is also a protestant church here, with a 12th century tower.
Ottrott is located at the Mont Ste-Odile. Ottrott is famous for its two castle ruins: the Lutzelbourg and the Rathsamhauseun.
Archeological Museum displays a collection of sculptures, arms, pottery, frescoes, glass objects from the Iron and Bronze Ages.
Mulhouse is the second well known city of Alsace, after Strasbourg, being situated between the Vognes and the Black Forest.
